Self-realization and emotional balance: significance in a woman's life

➢ Why is it so important for every woman, even if she doesn't realize it yet? The answer is on the surface: because a woman's self-realization depends on her self-respect, and self-respect depends on her mental balance, and mental balance depends on her happiness and success. So, what to do to achieve self-realization and eventually gain the same mental balance? The answer is simple - engage in your development (both moral and physical)! And why do we need self-development?

❏ First, it affects our perception of ourselves and our place in society. It is good when there is something to talk about with intelligent people. When you are profound in more than one topic, you can freely communicate with others, not only related to work or hobbies. When you are knowledgeable in many subjects, you feel "educated". And how to do it? It's straightforward - read books :)

This does not mean you should drop everything and rush to find the literature on quantum physics or the molecular combination of abrasive substances. Read about what interests you. No matter which book you choose, you may come across such knowledge, in which several topics from different areas are revealed at once, so development in these areas is guaranteed to you :)

❏ Secondly, self-development makes a person more knowledgeable, and such a person will be capable to put himself in the place of another person - a colleague, a husband, or a child. When you can look at any situation through the eyes of another person, it will not only elevate you in the eyes of those around you, but you will be able to find a way out of any, even the most difficult, situation, find an approach to a person with any temperament. Because thanks to books, you will begin to think more rationally, not succumbing to emotions as much as before.

❏ Thirdly, thanks to self-development, you will receive the possibility to look at problems and situations from different angles. It is easy to do this, imagining yourself as the hero of the recently read book "What would he do"? You know, there is such a psychological technique, if you cannot solve a problem, you should imagine that a friend came to you with this problem and asked for advice. What would you advise him? Books will reveal your potential, and you will be able to give not one piece of advice, but several, even from different points of view.

But, please, remember: reading only romance novels will not bring much benefit. Try to find a book of a mixed genre, such as a business novel or a story about a psychologist who helped women cope with their problems. By the way, business literature and books on self-knowledge or psychology can be no less interesting than novels. It is only important to find "your" style. After reading three or five "useful" books, you will notice changes in yourself, and after ten such books — others will notice too, and after twenty, you may come across one that will fundamentally change your life for the better!

➢ In addition to reading, find an activity that works for you. But training should not make you nervous or unwilling (there will be little benefit). You may look better on the outside, but how will you feel? A sport that "plays on nerves" will sooner or later be abandoned. So, isn't it better to find something that will bring harmony and not annoy?

Some people don't like sports, but it is possible to find some exercises that will tone both body and spirit. It can be the exercises combined with the correct breathing technique (body flex, yoga, stretching, pilates, etc). All you have to do is "google it", try it, and you will find something for yourself. And if you don't —  try the usual walk ;).

Books and sports are what you need for mental balance and self-discovery. They will expand your horizons. It's all you need to calm down when you're upset. And that's all you need to find the balance between body and soul that you may be lacking.

Reading and exercise are the magic pills that will give you a boost to self-actualization and mental balance.
